Q. What was the motivation behind starting SANMAT?

Governance failure of Government in implementing schemes for welfare, education and other Development themes made us to start sanmat. I can say lack of care to tsunami affected children was one very important reason.

Q. You are the 1st Indian who won University of Sussex Union Council election in Brighton, England and Top student body Post “Student President” of Institute of Development Studies, UK. Please tell us about this journey.

For me it was another colour in my life. It is certainly very proud feeling to be elected as Union Councillor in Globally 1st Ranked University for Humanities. I won as representative of 2nd World and 3rd world countries. It has taught me many aspects like balancing, patience and respect for every individual, culture and religion. It is something which helped me to have international network of best think tanks of the world.

Q. You are also working on the GREEN BIHAR initiative, of growing more than 15 Cr tree and 1.5Million jobs for the poor in Five years in the area of Seven Districts of Bihar. Are people of Bihar and the government cooperating for this initiative?

This idea and aim was well appreciated and supported by Mr. S M Raju (who hold many records and international awards also Inventor of Ayurvedic drink Miracle Drinks) for his initiative of 1CR saplings in a single day at Tirhut, Bihar.

Currently, we are getting very good support from Secretary Department of Rural development Mr. Arvind Chaudhary, Mr. C P Khanduja Sir, Sri Sanjay Singh Sir of Rural Development Department, Govt of Bihar. I would like to thank our CM Mr. Nitish Kumar, who asked our team to start plantation for creating Green Bihar in a meeting with us at Bettiah Circuit house during Sewa Yatra in 2011.

Q. How do you define your journey as a social entrepreneur?

It's full of adventure, networking, team building, having unknown well-wishers, Excellent Mentors, betrayal, Fake people, many experiments, lots of expectations of many people, bringing Good Change in life of millions of people through our initiatives and also hell lot of frustration, loss of personnel life, missed fun parts of life, few uninvited rivals & enemies. It's really hard but self-satisfying journey. One has to be stubborn like himself.

Q. You are the man behind who proposed starting Community Radio Stations in 19 districts in Bihar, what ignited the spark within you to boost this initiative?

Yes, and we are working with all these organisations and providing technical support cum handholding support for all theses 19 organization. We are also Partner of Bihar Mahadalit Vikash Mission, Government of Bihar. In my early experience, I found there is no media for raising voice of disadvantaged community and also for conserving our rural multi-coloured Bihari culture. I found community radio is the best medium for both causes.

Q. What are your plans for the future with your initiatives?

I have target of creating 10000 Social Entrepreneurs in Bihar and jobs/livelihood for 1 crore people with my Go Green (Plantation through App) incubation of panchayat-Community entrepreneurs through Bihar Social Entrepreneurs Association and skilling of 10 Lakh people through Sanmat.
